The Best Source for Antique Gas Engine Info

For years now, this book has been the definative source for information regarding the thousands of small gasoline/kerosene engines manufactured prior to electrification of our country's outlying areas. In those days, only the poorest of farms didn't have at least one of these engines to help with the work we now expect done at the flick of an electric switch. Collecting and displaying this type engine has grown to a hobby of nationwide scope. This book not only provides pictures and history of the common makes and models, but also information on most of the seldom-seen brands. As with all Wendel's Crestline books, this one is thoroughly researched and well organized.
